We contacted Chris after seeing CDA’s stunning work on a house one of us had lived in years ago and asked him to help us redesign our period flat into the dream home we’d been talking about for years. Working in the creative industries, we both had strong ideas about what we wanted, and a specific sensibility for the place: calm, reflective, respectful to the iconic period building we’re in, and its materials and history. The brilliance of Chris, Koryn and the CDA team was in expertly navigating that: pushing up to explore options in terms of structural solutions, layout, colour, fit and finish, while being sensitive and smart in hearing and integrating our perspectives and feedback, to the last detail. We could not be happier with the result, a home that feels truly ours, that we absolutely love.
